B-town trendy religious accessories

Bollywood continues to make a mark with a variety of statement accessories launched during film promotions. This trend has been narrowed as actors have been spotted flaunting Religious neck accessories in variations. The recent past has witnessed Bollywood's who's who donning Religious neck accessories in style, thereby bringing back the vogue. Here is a list of B-Town actors leading this trend.

1. Salman Khan - Salman Khan shared a glimpse of his upcoming film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' by giving the audience a sneak peak of his Mace locket. The Locket has created a stir amidst the audiences ever since resulting in the Film's Producers to launch Bajrangi Bhaijaan inspired merchandise to suppress the frenzy amongst the films audiences.

2. Shahrukh Khan - Shahrukh Khan had too donned neck accessories in 'Chalte Chalte' and 'Veer Zaara'. Both the films showcase the actor wearing the lockets prominently. 'Chalte Chalte' even has a scene highlighting the importance of the locket to Shahrukh. In 'Veer Zara' too, The Khalsa locket plays an important part in defining Shahrukh Khan's Punjabi boy persona.

3. Aamir Khan - Aamir created a stir with his record breaking Film 'PK'. Where the actor wore religious symbols of all religions around his neck to define his character. Aamir is seen wearing the neck accessories in a section of the film. The accessories help to convey the situation in context to the films script in a precise way. Aamir has previously worn different neck accessories in his films like 'Rangeela' and 'Lagaan' amongst others.

4. Farhan Akhtar - Farhan Akhtar was seen wearing a Khalsa locket in his neck all through the blockbuster 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, the film's director found it mandatory that Farhan adorns the Khalsa locket in order to represent the role of Milkha Singh who is a Seekh. Farhan carried the neck accessory with ease, blending it into his onscreen character.

5. Sidharth Malhotra - Sidharth plays a character "Monty" of Catholic origin in 'Brothers'. Sid wears multiple accessories in the film involving an earring, bracelets and a rosary. Sidharth wears a rosary around his neck which almost proves to be his style statement for the film.

6. Pulkit Samrat - Bollywood's new found talent, Pulkit has created a mark with every film. His soon to be released 'Bangistan' features him wearing a Rudraksh Maala around his neck in the first half of the film and a Taveez towards the other half. Pulkit delivers this trend in style making it highly adoptable by the youth.

7. Tiger Shroff - Tiger Shroff had flaunted his "Taveez" as his staple look in his debut film Heropanti. Shroff junior had been carrying the look naturally throughout the film almost making it difficult to identify the accessoy as a well thought element of his look.
