Bahujan Samaj party leader Mayavathi has remarked recently, "Modi was a tea seller during 2014 elections and now he is a watchman (Chowkidar) during 2019 elections, and as BJP says "India changes", is this the change they were referring to", and her statement has created ripples in political arena.

In a recent tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that he is not alone, and all those who are against corruption and social evils are the protectors of the nation, and everyone in India calls themselves a chowkidar, and then added the word chowkidar before his name on Twitter, and all BJP members did the same.

Trolling this Chowkidar campaign of Modi, Bahujan Samaj leader Mayawati tweeted "After BJP Launch Mai Bhi Chowkidar campaign, PM Modi and others added the prefix Chowkidar to their Twitter handles. So now Narendra Modi is Chowkidar and no more as Chaiwala as he was at the time of last LS election. What a change India is witnessing under BJP rule. Bravo!". This sarcastic tweet of Mayawati trolling Modi has turned viral.
