Amid news of problems along the Line of Actual Control, in the news also is a problem that has been averted along the International Border with Pakistan. This happened in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The Border Security Force reportedly shot down a Pakistani drone caught flying in the Rathua area of the Hiranagar sector around 5.10 am.
The BSF recovered M-4 US-made semi-automatic rifle (60 rounds), two magazines and seven M67 grenades, reports say.
Investigation is on to determine what was the aim of the handlers on the other side of the Border. Someone from Pakistan wanted to deliver the arms and ammunition to someone in India.
Pakistan's rogue army is believed to be looking at launching terror strikes in J&K at a time when India is having a headache with China. Time and again, its attempts have been tackled efficiently by our security and intelligence forces.
