The trailer of the recently released 'Brothers' has caught on with everyone. It has created an impact with power-packed acting coming from Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jackie Shroff.

Interestingly, this is for the first time ever that Akshay will be playing a Catholic in a film. In Karan Malhotra's 'Brothers' the Khiladi will be playing David Fernandes and for this role, the actor said to have lost nearly 17 kilos.

Sharing about the preparation that went behind Khiladi's character, the director revealed, "Since Akshay is playing a Catholic character my crew went to the bylanes of Bandra and met people and saw the tattoos they had and also the way they speak." In the film Akshay sports a lot of tattoos - where he has a Jesus tattoo on his arm and a cross on his wrist.

Karan Malhotra further added that Akshay plays a physics teacher with a hidden past.

Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez in lead, 'Brothers' is releasing on 15th August 2015.
