In a season of sequels, even the low budget films try and gain some indicative mileage from the announcement of a sequel. 'Broker 2' is a sequel to the small film directed and enacted by RP Patnaik that created some buzz with its realistic portrayal of a power broker's life and style. The original's producer Maddineni Ramesh is not just producing but also directing the sequel. Posani Krishna Murali is playing the title role.

Ramesh said 'The filming is happening at a fast pace and about 70 percent of the production is finished already. Will finish the balance along with the five songs, close the post production works in November and release the film in December. The movie talks about Women in Politics and how they are used by Politicians'

The movie is presented by Venkat Vardhineni on Directors Cinema banner has new lady Sneha as the female lead. Siri, Benerjee, Jeeva, Kadambari Kiran, Prabhu, Giri and Sobha are playing the other key roles.
