People Media Factory, one of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema, is joining hands with ZEE Studios for Pawan Kalyan-Sai Dharam Tej's Bro, written and directed by Samuthirakani. Trivikram pens the screenplay, dialogues for the film that hits screens on July 28.
The makers are immensely happy with the response to posters, promos, teaser and the songs My Dear Markandeya, Jaanavule. Ahead of its release, the trailer of Bro was launched today in Jagadamba theatre, Vizag and Devi theatre, Hyderabad amidst scores of fans and the team including Sai Dharam Tej, Ketika Sharma, Samuthirakani, S Thaman and TG Vishwa Prasad.
The trailer commences showcasing a workaholic Sai Dharam Tej, who claims he doesn't have time for anything in life and is always in a hurry at home and at work. Ketika Sharma plays his love interest. After a mishap and the arrival of Pawan Kalyan, who represents time, his life takes a drastic turn.
He is seen in a variety of avatars as a security officer, as a coolie (based on Tammudu look), bespectacled look and Sai Dharam Tej constantly tries to run away from him. While Pawan Kalyan is absolutely having fun, the latter appears confused and disturbed. Many wonder why they’re seen together always.
Pawan Kalyan says Sai Dharam Tej has a rare gift of going back in time and a series of dialogues on life and death grab your attention. There’s a good dose of emotion, comedy, high voltage action sequences and it’s apparent that a conflict around his family in worrying Sai Dharam Tej.
The trailer ends with a bang as Pawan Kalyan recreates Brahmanandam's iconic scene from King, does the famous Jalsa step and shakes a leg with Sai Dharam Tej. The latter says he doesn't even know the taste of a lipstick and his verbal banter with Pawan Kalyan makes for hilarious viewing.
The film reminds audiences of vintage Pawan Kalyan with his dance moves, comic timing and dialogue delivery and Samuthirakani has packaged the film well to please his fans without compromising on the story. Trivikram’s dialogues, Sai Dharam Tej's screen presence, the star studded lineup, the grand visuals and Thaman's background score are the major highlights of the trailer. There's no doubt that an entertaining feast is awaiting audiences on July 28.
"We are all here for your love. I am so glad you liked the trailer. We'll meet in theatres soon," Sai Dharam Tej said. Samuthirakani mentioned the film will be a festival for Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej fans, calling it a privilege to direct the 'Power Star' and thanked the producers, team and the fans for their love. The producer TG Vishwa Prasad asserted that the film will satisfy all expectations on July 28.
Bro’s Nizam distributor Sasidhar Reddy, calling himself a Pawan Kalyan fan, expressed confidence about the film's business prospects and said that the trailer hints at a blockbuster in the making. The co-producer Vivek Kuchbhotla mentioned Bro has all ingredients of a memorable film, where Pawan Kalyan plays a God, reminding fans that the pre-release event will be held on July 25. Ketika Sharma asked crowds to come to theatres with their families.
"This is just a sample. You had many iconic fights in Vakeel Saab, Bheemla Nayak and Pawan Kalyan has a lot of surprises to offer fans, he has put his heart and soul into Bro. He has danced like a dream, did comedy superbly and the introduction, interval and climax will give you goosebumps. This is a very emotional film. Sai Dharam Tej has delivered a lovely performance, Trivikram’s dialogues are an asset," Thaman stated.
Pawan Kalyan plays the titular character (Bro), Sai Dharam is cast as Mark a.k.a Markandeyulu. Priya Prakash Varrier, Samuthirakani, Rohini, Rajeswari Nair, Raja, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Prudhvi Raj, Narra Srinu, Yuva Lakshmi, Devika, Ali Reza and Surya Srinivas play key roles too. Sujith Vaasudev cranks the camera.
