Late Wednesday night, the 42-year-old pop icon emerged from the Chateau Marmont, following the dispatch of an ambulance to the Sunset Strip location. Uncertainty surrounds the ambulance's call for Spears, who was present with her ex-housekeeper, Paul Richard Soliz.

Spears exited the building barefoot and in white shorts, clutching a pillow and wrapping in a brown blanket as she bypassed the ambulance with the others. An onlooker said that she did not get into the stretcher that was brought out for her.

As for the ambulance, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed it received a 911 call for an injured adult female at 12:42 a.m. today but had no further details. The ambulance arrived, but it departed from the hotel at 1:17 a.m. without transporting anyone to the hospital, leading to no law enforcement action.

While Spears hasn't responded to requests for comment, sources indicate she is safe at home. Spears shared a message on Instagram, which she later deleted, pointing out the fakeness and age of the barefoot exit photo. She also detailed the twisting of her ankle, which she attributed to her mother, Lynne Spears. Paul Richard Soliz, pictured with Spears in August, has connections to her past breakup with Sam Asghari, although their current relationship status is unclear.
