For the Kannada audience 'Ganesh' title is very close to heart. In the past films like Ganeshana Madhuve, Ganeshana Ghalate, Ganesha Subramanya, Ganeshana Avanthara, Ganesha I Love You are some of the films made. In all the films the common factor was versatile actor Ananth Nag. He is now again in lead role in 'Ganesha' with senior comedy hero Jaggesh.

The first schedule of the shooting was completed at Halasanadu palace near Kundapura. Jaggesh, Ananthnag, Ajai, Ranjini, Sharan, Vanitha Vasu, Meghana, Vanishri, Rangayana Raghu, Mandip Rai, Killer Venkatesh took part in this schedule. This is a hilarious comedy film with strong dose of sentiments. The second schedule begins in the first week of April.

The stylish director of Kannada cinema Dinesh Baboo is also doing his passionate cinematography after a brief gap besides writing the story, screenplay and dialogue for the film 'Ganesha'.

S.V.Srinivasulu and Rajkamal from Hospet are the producers of this Sri Sai Productions. Manikanth Khadri is the music director. Jayanth Kaikini, Ramnarayan and Gandharva have penned the songs.
