Brinda teaser: Mystery Thriller

Before you entered this world, it may have been filled with evil. But before we depart, it's our responsibility to fill it with goodness. These words, spoken to Trisha Krishnan's Brinda, echo in the air as she prepares for a no-holds-barred battle. The official teaser of Brinda, her first-ever streaming series, promises everything you'd expect from a gripping mystery thriller.

The 88-second teaser opens with a chilling scene: a ritual in progress. A young girl, bound with red thread and smeared with turmeric and kumkum, screams in terror as a liquid is poured over her head. The voiceover, imbued with an ominous tone, speaks of the darkness within us: "We may have anger, betrayal, and hatred within us. But it's not with these that we should battle. Rather, fight with the good in us, making sure it doesn't fade away."

It is a powerful, female-led narrative, and I am extremely happy to direct this series. Brinda's character is layered, unraveling different aspects as the story progresses. It's been a pleasure working with Trisha Krishnan, and through Brinda, we hope to redefine the genre and push the envelope in the Telugu industry."
