Sometimes, truth is stranger than a circus. Just days before the wedding of two youngsters, the mother of the bride and the father of the groom have eloped. What?! How on Earth did they manage to fall in love so fast?!! Well, their love story is older than their kids. Just that they have revived it after decades. They are 48 and 46. They thought they are never too old to elope.
The shocking incident has come to light in Gujarat. The man is said to be a textile businessman. When he was a youngster, he was in love with the bride's mother, who went on to marry a diamond merchant. After decades, they crossed paths again last year and decided to get their children married off. The engagement ceremony took place last year and a grand wedding was scheduled to be held in February.
Instead of moving on, they decided to fall in love all over again, leaving their families embarrassed and their children heartbroken.
A police complaint has been filed by the family members. Police are searching for the two missing persons.
