Breaking! Telangana government caps prices for Covid-19 treatment

The Telangana government on Monday capped the prices applicable across private health institutions in the State for the testing and treatment of Covid-19.
Testing fee is capped at Rs 2,200.
ICU (with Ventilator) treatment is capped at Rs 9,000 per day.
ICU (without ventilator) treatment is capped at Rs 7,500 per day.
General Ward facility is capped at Rs 4,000 per day.
Health Minister Eatala Rajender said that 7500 samples can be tested per day.
At the moment, 250 patients are getting treated in various private hospitals in GHMC limits.
