On Wednesday evening, the Narcotics Control Bureau issued summons to four well-known actresses in the drugs probe. Their names have been mentioned in several media reports for the past few days. None of the names is new.

Superstar actress Deepika Padukone, who will be romancing Prabhas in Nag Ashwin's film, has got summons.

Rakul Preet Singh, who recently urged the Delhi High Court against "media trials" in the drugs case, is yet another celeb to receive summons. Rhea Chakraborty is believed to have taken Rakul's name during interrogation.

Shraddha Kapoor, the 'Saaho' actress, too, has received summons. She is reported to have attended a party at late Sushant Singh Rajput’s Lonavala farmhouse sometime in 2019. In the party, drugs were allegedly used.

Sara Ali Khan is the fourth actress who will be questioned by NCB's Special Investigation Team in the coming days.
