Lakshyam directed by Anzar Khan is the much anticipated movie of this year. Its shooting was progressing at a rapid speed but came to halt suddenly due to the unexpected accident at the location.

Actor Biju Menon sustained injury during its shoot and the shoot came to a halt temporarily. It has Biju Menon and Indrajith playing the lead roles. They are essaying the role of convicts and the canning was going on in Athirappally when the mishap happened.

The scene had Biju Menon leaping over rocks and running when he slipped down and landed on his hands. Biju Menon thought it was okay, but in the next day when the shoot started he felt the pain in his hands. On visiting the hospital and after undergoing scan it was found that there was hairline fracture. According to the director the shoot will be halted for a week.

The script of the film is written by Jeethu Joseph. It is based on the telefilm directed by Anzar titled Mukham – Uzhkam.

Half of the film is remaining to be shot. Shooting locations of the film are Malayatoor, Vagamon & Thommankuthu.
