Days after the news that a Tollywood co-producer named Kishan Modugumudi and his wife were arrested by Chicago police for running a prostitution racket involving Tollywood actress, the US Department of Homeland & Immigration seems to have gone overboard by questioning a visiting Telugu actress.

The one in question is Mehreen Pirzada. The Tollywoodian was most recently visiting the US after she was done with a 'Pantham' schedule in Canada. This is when she was probed by the US Department of Homeland & Immigration, apparently to find out the purpose of her visit, etc.

The Punjabi diva was questioned only because she told the officials that she was a Tollywood actress! This is profiling at its worst.

The 'Mahanubhavudu' and 'Raja The Great' actress has told an English-language daily that she was upset by the incident.
