Anirban Blah, a celebrity manager, has known Mahesh Babu and Rana Daggubati for years now. With Rana, he runs KWAN Entertainment, a well-known and futuristic talent management company.

A few days ago, four women accused Anirban of sexual misconduct. The company fired him after the 'Me Too' allegations sprouted up. This apparently caused a lot of trauma in him and his family.

On Thursday night, Anirban decided to commit suicide. Before doing so, he wrote a letter to a national daily, talking about how he suffered as a child and has not been able to become a better person. He signed off by writing that he will commit suicide by jumping off Vashi creek in Navi Mumbai.

The newspaper received the mail around 11pm. It immediately alerted the police, who made no delay in reaching the creek. They waited for Anirban to turn up and when he did so, they caught him. The police have since counseled him and his wife.
