A video of a Brazilian judge appearing shirtless in a live-streamed court hearing has been going viral as the viewers who tuned in when it happened were in for a shock.

In the video call with other judges from the State Court in Amapa who are all working from home amid the coronavirus lockdown, Judge Carmo Antonio de Souza (57) appeared shirtless while sipping a drink when the camera went live. As soon as he caught himself in the live video along with the other four judges, he walked away and came back dressed in a shirt and a tie a few minutes later. "Carmo Antonio de Souza, without realizing that his equipment was turned on, minutes before the official start of the session, briefly appeared topless," the tribunal reportedly stated regarding the issue. It further added, "The practice of carrying out judicial sessions by videoconference is a recent development. In this sense, the occurrence of incidents such as this is perfectly understandable."

As the coronavirus pandemic has been wreaking havoc across the world, several countries, including India, have announced a complete lockdown in their respective countries, hoping for the situation to come under control sooner. The world has registered 2206420 cases and 148651 deaths over the viral infection so far.
