A student from Delhi, who had stopped by a petrol pump, was held at gunpoint by a robber who demanded the keys to his motorcycle. The student’s bravado attempt at evading the thief will knock your socks off.
Karan Chowdhary, a student from Delhi, had stopped at a petrol bank near Shahdara, where he was confronted by a robber who held a gun to his head and asked for his keys. The student, who refused to hand them over, ran around asking for help from the passersby, but nobody came forward to his rescue, according to reports. He then allegedly snatched the gun out of the robber’s hand, following which the burglar made his escape.
“He asked me to give him my bike keys but I refused to do so. I stepped down from my bike and rushed away from the spot to seek help from other people present at the petrol pump, but they all refused to help me and ran away from there and locked themselves in a room. However, I fought with the miscreant all alone and snatched the pistol from his hand in order to save myself. After I snatched the weapon from him, he immediately ran away from the spot,” Karan had reported.
Despite his bold move, the robber who managed to get away hasn’t been caught by the police yet. Investigation on the matter is currently underway.
