With Brahmotsavam getting mixed response, the makers are understandably in damage control mode. At 156 mins, the family entertainer has been deemed to be a lengthy one. Since some episodes overstay their welcome, the scissors were in the offing right after the morning show yesterday.

The news is that PVP Cinema has instructed the exhibitors to chop off the Nasser episode, which also includes the badly choreographed Put Your Hands Up number. This should make the second half look better trimmed.

This Srikanth Addala's film tells two love stories. There were speculations that Bala Tripuramani too will receive the chopping as the song is forced, but the makers have thought otherwise.

One hopes the new version will be lapped up by the audience.
