'Brahmastra', one of the most ambitious Bollywood films in the making, stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The epic, which will hit the screens in five languages (including Telugu) on September 9 this year, has been made at a cost of more than Rs 300 Cr. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the supernatural fantasy thriller will hit the screens in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The VFX-heavy movie is the first edition of a trilogy.
An exciting piece of news about the movie has arrived. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures today said that the first part of the trilogy is the first Indian movie to become a part of its global theatrical release slate.
‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva' is the complete title of the much-awaited fantasy.
The film, which entered the post-production phase recently, has joined the league of major titles such as 'Thor: Love and Thunder', 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', and 'Avatar: The Way of Water' this year.
An interesting aspect of 'Brahmastra' is that it features Akkineni Nagarjuna in a key role.
