Ayan Mukerji's long awaited sci-fi project 'Brahmastra' is finally set to release in September this year. The film has been in production for so long with very little known about it to public so it is apparent that there have been several speculations about it in media. Ever since its announcement 'Brahmastra' is believed to be a grand superhero film.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is headlining the film, recently shared that 'Brahmastra' is not a superhero film by any means and it fact it cannot be put into any particular genre. He told PTI, "This is not like a Marvel film. In its genre it is very original. We can't compare 'Brahmastra' to any film that is made around the world. I am a big movie watcher and I have seen every film that is out there. There is no reference to this film."
Ranbir further added, "Very early when we started this film, we unfortunately got the tag of it being a superhero film... it is not a superhero film, it is a fantasy-adventure and I play a character who has a divine power with it."
