'Brahmastra', one of the most ambitious Bollywood films in the making, stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The epic, which will hit the screens in five languages (including Telugu) on September 9 this year, has been made at a cost of more than Rs 300 Cr. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the supernatural fantasy thriller will hit the screens in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The VFX-heavy movie is the first edition of a trilogy.

The news is that, on Tuesday, a special teaser-like video was released by the makers marking Alia Bhatt's birthday. The actress seems to have played a versatile role with many layers in this much-awaited movie.

The makers called the 'RRR' actress the pride and the magic of the film. "Here’s something to celebrate you on your special day. Our Isha - the Shakti of Brahmāstra - in the first visuals we are releasing from our movie," wrote the director.

Ranbir's name is Shiva in the movie. Akkineni Nagarjuna has a key role, while Amitabh Bachchan is also playing a pivotal part.
