Looks like Brahmanandam is a pro when it comes to pencil sketching. The legendary comedian's lockdown-time sketches of the Telugu poet Sri Sri and the great poet-nationalist Rabindranath Tagore have won the hearts of sketch lovers in recent days.
Brahmi's imaginative sketch in which he depicts the Indian map as having locked itself to keep Coronavirus at bay is the latest one. It's simple yet evocative and is busy getting the attention of folks on social media. 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' director Harish Shankar on Sunday shared it on Twitter and asked his followers to guess the name of the artist. "I am thrilled and surprised by this hidden skill of ... MR. X even though u can see his signature .. I don't know how many of you can guess. Try to figure the artist. Hint: He is a great artist," the filmmaker said.
Brahmi is not there on social media. His son and 'Manu' actor Raja Gautham has been putting out his dad's sketches on his Instagram account. "One of my fav skills of his...Glad that he has finally got the time to reconnect with it...His fav Poet శ్రీశ్రీ Garu’s portrait," he recently wrote on Insta.
