It has been a long time since Brahmanandam left his trademark comedic imprint on a film. Of late, the audience have begun to think that Brahmi has been repetitiously typecast in indistinct roles. Even his role in Soggade Chinni Nayana turned out to be less than exciting, if not a damp squib. None other than Kota Srinivasa Rao, who has acted with Brahmi in a number of most rib-tickling comedy tracks, has said that Brahmi hasn't been getting roles that befit his talent.

Finally, Sardaar Gabbar Singh offers his fans a relief. In this Bobby-directed film, Brahmi is cast in the role of a weapons dealer. Christened as Weapon Tiger, Brahmi does comedy with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Well, the last time they did comedy in Attarintiki Daredi, their track only got a lukewarm response as the Ahalya episode was pretty much over-the-top. However, their comedy tracks in Gudum Shankar, Jalsa, Gabbar Singh, and Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu bore testimony to their comic timing.

In SGS, Pawan takes on the self-glorifying Weapon Tiger, who takes others for a ride until the arrival of the CI Gabbar Singh in Rattanpur.

Hope we are in for a laugh riot!
