Dr Brahmanandam is believed to have delivered an emotionally cathartic performance as Prakash Raj's friend in 'Ranga Marthanda'. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Global Star Ram Charan have appreciated him personally.

The film bears a Chiranjeevi connection. Director Krishna Vamsi invited Chiru to deliver the 'Nenoka Natudni' shayari. As the titles roll, this monologue pays a tribute to all major Telugu actors since the NTR era. Chiru's contemporaries like Balakrishna and Nagarjuna as well as his juniors such as Mahesh Babu and others have received a salutation through the film.

Meanwhile, the denouement concerning Brahmanandam's character in 'Ranga Marthanda' has become a moral issue for many. It has to be seen how the audience are going to receive it.
