Brahmanandam is now a grandpa. His son Gautham and daughter-in-law Jyothsna were on Hanuman Jayanthi blessed with a healthy baby boy. The ace comedian has been quoted as saying that the entry of his grandson made his household very happy.

Gautham, who debuted with the movie 'Pallaki Lo Pelli Koothuru' and who later did 'Basanthi', is currently doing a film titled 'Manu'. While he hasn't been a successful actor, one hopes he will strike back in his second innings.
