Brahmanandam is one comedian with a noteworthy pan-South Indian image. Since he has given praiseworthy performances in films like the critically acclaimed super hit Mozhi, his popularity in Tamil Nadu shouldn't surprise us. 'Mana' Brahmi has been cast in many Tamil-Telugu bilinguals over the years.

Now Brahmanandam has been cast in an important role in Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's upcoming Tamil-Telugu-Hindi trilingual to be launched on April 29. Brahmanandam will be sharing screen space with Kamal, Ramya Krishnan and Shruti Haasan in the film.

This is huge for Brahmi, considering that it's a Kamal movie and every actor in a Kamal movie looks different.

The yet to be titled trilingual is going to be directed by T.K.Rajeev Kumar and produced by Raj Kamal Films International. Musical score will be rendered by Maestro Ilaiyaraja.
