'Thappad' and 'Pink' actress Tapsee Pannu is in the news after opening up about her boyfriend and how her family sees him, in her latest interview. There have been steady rumours about the actress' romantic involvement with a foreigner, but no one could get any further info regarding that. A portal has, however, got the scoop news from Tapsee herself and that too right in front of her mother.

The Bollywood-south actress has revealed that she has been dating badminton player Mathias Boe, who lives in Denmark. "There is someone in my life and my family knows about it. It's very important for me that my family - including my sister and my parents - they like the person who I am with. Else it won't work for me," Taapsee has been quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

Mathias Boe, in April 2020, decided to retire as a professional badminton player at the age of 39. He revealed that, mentally, he is lately simply too exhausted both in training and competition.

Meanwhile, Bollywood media is abuzz that he and Tapsee would be tying the knot pretty soon.

Tapsee Pannu's next film in Tamil is 'Jana Gana Mana' directed by Ahmed and costarring Jayam Ravi, Rahman and Gautami.
