Shocking! Boy shoots sister over a video game controller

Sibling rivalry is nothing new. Sometimes people even swish the subject away stating it to be ‘cute’. But what could happen if the behavourial traits are not monitored? An incident in Monroe County, Missisippi has taught a grim lesson to one and all.

A 9 year old boy had taken a gun and shot his elder sister of 13 years old, all over an argument for the video game controller. The boy had found the handgun in the night-stand next to his parents’ bed following which he shot his sister in the back of her head. The girl was pronounced dead after taken to a near-by hospital. While the case has come under investigation, authorities have not yet filed charges.
