Two films were released last week ---- Giri and M Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi. It is too early to write about their collections.

So, Vasoolraja MBBS continues to rake in the moolah. Kamal's rib-tickler is still making the producer run all the way to the bank. Currently running in three big theatres in Chennai, its collections are over several lakhs of rupess all over Tamil Nadu.

On the second spot is Chellame. The stylishy made Reema Sen starrer is now a confirmed hit. The songs and Reema Sen and Bharath's acting have won over the audiences. Little wonder it is making all the money.

The surprise packet is Sye. This Telugu film is reaping a rich harvest in Chennai as did the previous Telugu release Arjun. There is a huge Telugu population in Chennai and that is providing plenty of money to Telugu films.

Arasaktchi, the Arjun starrer, is slipping very badly. After opening promisingly, the film has dropped alarmingly.

Manoj Night Syamalan's The Village continues to have good collections.

Where are Madurae and Gajendra? Nowhere.
