Box Office is going to be a Crowded Place this week what with three considerably big movies releasing simultaneously. Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi starrer ‘Anthony Kaun Hai?’, Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty’s long delayed ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’ and actor turned director Chakravarthy’s ‘Darwaza Band Rakho’. ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’ has been creating a lot of buzz for the interesting promos, catchy music and Arshad-Sanju coming together as a team after ‘Munnabhai MBBS’. ‘Darwaza Bandh Rakho’ seems to be interesting as well for it involves an ensemble cast of 35 actors and RGV style of comedy is definitely different from Anees Bazmi or David Dhawan brand of tomfoolery.

As for ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’ then it’s been too long in the making. Director Adhyaman’s last offering ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’ starring Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan also got delayed and ended up recovering its cost due to the stellar star cast.

The promos of Sallu and Shilpa getting into matrimonial discord don’t look too promising as the storytelling style has undergone a sea change. It remains to be seen who strikes gold this weekend. Or will it be a case of no-win-situation for anyone as everyone will eat into the other’s share. KANK is releasing next week and everyone is feeling the heat. They know this is the only week where they can make their booty as seven day’s later they would be running for cover anyways.
