New Zealand has won the fourth ODI of the series against India, by 8 wickets. Winning the toss, Kiwis opted to field first, and opener and skipper Rohit Sharma, in his 200th ODI was dismissed by Trent Boult for 7(23) after a struggle, and soon, Dhawan was dismissed for 13(20). Shubhman Gill, who was considered a promising batsman, departed soon for 9(21).

With Grandhomme's twin strikes to remove Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik for ducks, India were reeling at 5/33, and Boult dismissed Kedar Jadhav with just 2 more runs added to the score. Powered by tailenders Pandya(16), Kuldeep (15) and Chahal 18*, India were wrapped for 92.

Boult had an impressive figure of 5/21 while Grandhomme had 3/26. New Zealand batting began on a shaky note as they lost opener Guptill 14(4) and skipper Kane Williamson for 11(18), but the other opener Nicholls 30(42)* partnered with Ross Taylor 37(25)* to lead New Zealand to a win by 8 wickets with 212 balls to spare.
