A private news agency has quoted NTR's close aide as saying that there are no similarities between the character Jai in 'Jai Lava Kusa' and a story narrated by Puri Jagannadh a few years ago.
In Puri's story, the protagonist is a martial arts exponent, while NTR's Jai is hardly one. Moreover, he is an antagonist in this movie of triple roles. Stammering is the only character trait that is common to both Bobby and Puri's script.
There are suggestions that it's not NTR alone who rejected Puri's script. Allu Arjun, too, gave it a miss because he felt it's not up to the mark.
