Srikanth- Sneha pair on and off screen has always generated curiosity and excitement. The last time they came together was Parthipan Kanavu, which worked wonders at the box office. This time they come together in Bose. Directed by  Daya Senthilkumar the film has Srikant as a commando. "There is no Kashmir terrorists and politicians scheming against the nation. Srikant is a black cat attached to Kalabhavan Mani a union minister in Delhi. Four reels later the action shifts to Chennai. It has love, family sentiments and action too says Senthilkumar. Sneha plays a student of Kalashetra the dance school in Chennai. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Vijay Milton the film is produced by Sri Mahalakshmi combine.

Though an action film it will not have fights at end of every second reel but at the same time it will be thrilling. Action director Peter Heyen has not taken up any new assignments since he wants to concentrate on Bose

"We have so far spent 60 days to shoot the stunt sequences alone. Heyen is doing only this film and Shankar's  Anniyan. Action scenes at the Woodlands Theatre in which thousands of junior artistes took part was recently filmed. Srikant broke the windowpanes at the top floor and jumped on the top of the car kept below. Even though Heyen felt it was risky, Srikant took the risk because today's audience who come to the theatres are the youth who are exposed to Hollywood action films felt Srikant.,says the director.

Producer H Murali many years back produced Kamalhassan starrer `Avvai Shanmughi an out and out comedy film. Says Murali "Nearly 70 per cent of the shooting is complete. We need to shoot a few more scenes in Russia. I am spending as much as I should spend on a Vijay movie because I am confident about the story. It's turning out to be a good film. Why the title Bose?. It signifies power and honesty and Subash Chandra Bose. Coincidentally the film was launched on January 23rd the birthday of Subashji and will be released on August 15th" revealed Murali.

Meanwhile, actor Srikanth's Sathurangam opposite Sonia Agrawal being directed by Karu Palaniappan is nearing completion. He plays a scribe in the movie. He is also signed to act in A M Rathnam's film before this year-end. 'Bose will help establish me as an action-hero in the industry', says Srikanth
