Arvind Dharmapuri, the BJP MP of Nizamabad, has lashed out at AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi for describing the Citizenship Amendment Act as communal and unconstitutional. He also found fault with his planned public rally in Nizamabad.

"Owaisi cannot address a public gathering as there is a Code of Conduct implemented in Nizamabad ahead of the municipal polls. I have written to the District Collector, the Election Commission and the police," Dharmapuri said.

Furthermore, the saffron leader said that Owaisi wants to visit Nizamabad to divide the country. "Does he want to fight for people who are coming from Bangladesh and Pakistan? He is acting like an anti-national. He should be booked for sedition and sent behind bars forever," Dharmapuri added.
