It is known news that the film `Boni' is all set to hit the screens this weekend and recently the audio release happened. The response from the market has been fair enough and the music for this has been composed by Ramana Gogula while the lyrics have been written by Ramajogayya Sastry. A diverse group of singers took part in this album and let us take a look at each song.

Boni   Listen here

This is the title song of the film and the voice for this has been given by Ramana Gogula and he has also composed the music. This is more of a hip hop number in Telugu with Gogula using his typical rap vocals. The lyrics have been penned by Ramajogayya Sastry in a rather interesting manner and the chorus has contributed well to the lead vocals. The beats are quite western.

Modati Choope Naalona...    Listen here

This is an enticing romantic number mixed with a melody. The duet has been rendered by the talented duo of Karunya and Pranavi along with the Telugu rap by the singer. The song revolves around the feelings and thoughts during the first stages of falling in love. The lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry has woven the words in a tender manner which appeals to the heart. This is more of a voice dominated song than the music.

Nammaleni Kalaye Nijamayena    Listen here

This song is a fast paced duet that has been sung by Deepu and Sunitha and there is a mix of emotion and a tender feeling. The lyrics have been written in tune with the music by Ramajogayya Sastry and Ramana Gogula has mixed his beats with western and traditional tune. The vocals have been a bit mild but the fast music has made the difference.

Arere Chejarinde    Listen here

A typical Gogula signature song, the song starts with a western song lead and gets into a melody with the chorus. The duet has been sung by the duo of artists Srirama Chandra and Sudha Jeevan and the pace of the song is quite moderate. This is more of a melody number mixed with few English lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry. There is a touch of literature that is seen in the words in this song. This is a good one.

Maa Jatha Kadithe    Listen here

This looks to be a lift from the foreign song `a la bamba' for the most part, then it is mixed with the folk beats and the duet has been rendered by Linus Madiri and Geetha Madhuri while the lyricist for this is Ramajogayya Sastry. Both lyrics and music have been one platform for this and the fast pace of this number makes it energetic. This is another Telugu rap by Gogula.

Kadantana    Listen here

The song is filled with passion and the husky vocals by the duo of Hemachandra and Sravana Bhargavi has fitted the bill well. However, with too much of techno instruments in the song, the melody has got affected in this one. Ramajogayya Sastry has done a neat job with his lyrics but with the western beats, the flavor of nativity is lost in this one. But due to the eroticism in the voices, the song passes off.

Dibi Dubi Daba    Listen here

This is a highlight song of Ramana Gogula who rendered his voice but this time there were more of sounds and less of words that have been penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. This will be deemed as a typical Telugu rap number and though it is not of the regular duration, it will make its presence felt.

Arere Chejarinde    Listen here

This is a bit song with the same lyrics as in the duet but this time, it was Srirama Chandra with his melodious voice which added a lot of life and feeling to the song. Piano followed by the violin at the background has been touching by Gogula and Ramajogayya Sastry did his bit with ease here.

The album is a typical trademark of Ramana Gogula and it has the regular ingredients of rap, western beats, energy, hip hop flavor. This time, the melody content was less and though few numbers have been dominated by vocals, the traces of western songs can be felt. Though the songs are not that catchy as Gogula's earlier ventures, they have a fairly decent mark.
