Contrary to media speculations, Boney Kapoor was not probed by Dubai police on Monday, say the latest reports. He was called to the Bur Dubai police station, where he only gave a statement. It was not an interrogation.
It's likely that Sridevi's mortal remains will arrive in Mumbai later today. Navdeep Suri, India's ambassador to UAE, has tweeted saying they are "working with local authorities to ensure that mortal remains will be sent to India at the earliest". Usually, it takes 2-3 days for such formalities to be completed, he added.
Sridevi's body will be embalmed today, local media says.
