Today is the 56th birthday of yesteryear legendary actress Sridevi, the actress who had ruled Kollywood, Bollywood and Tollywood and had been one of the earliest Lady superstars of Indian cinema. She had passed away in Dubai last year due to accidental drowning.

With her birthday today, as wishes are pouring for the actress from all corners, her husband Boney Kapoor posted an emotional tweet wishing Sridevi. "Happy Birthday Jaan, missing you every minute of my life , keep on guiding us , you will remain with us till eternity. #Sridevi" read his tweet.

Boney Kapoor's brother and Sridevi's co-star in many blockbusters, Anil Kapoor also made an emotional tweet "Today is a bittersweet day as we celebrate you on what would have been your 56th Birthday…We feel the sadness of your loss deeply, but remembering your smile and the joy you brought to all our lives unites us in your memory...We miss you everyday #Sridevi!". Janhvi Kapoor had posted a photo on Instagram, wearing a south Indian style half saree, probably as a tribute to her mother.She had been to Tirupathi to seek God's blessings.
