Cited as the 'First Female Superstar' of India, Sridevi Kapoor made her acting debut in Tamil cinema but Janhvi Kapoor is yet to make her debut in Tamil or South Indian cinema for that matter. Earlier, Janhvi revealed in an interview that she wishes to make her Tamil debut opposite Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.

Recently, there were rumours that Janhvi is going to enter Kollywood with director Lingusamy's 'Paiya 2' but Boney Kapoor officially clarified that his daughter hadn't signed any Tamil movie yet. Now, the gorgeous actress is going to make her debut in South Indian cinema in 'RRR' star Jr NTR's next film with the renowned Tollywood director Koratala Siva.

As Janhvi celebrates her 26th birthday today, the makers made it official that Janhvi Kapoor will play the female lead opposite Tarak in 'NTR30'. The production house also unveiled her first-look poster for the movie. Their tweet read: "She's the calm in the storm from the fierce world of #NTR30 Happy Birthday and welcome onboard #JanhviKapoor" (sic).
