As soon as the first two shows got over on Friday morning, producer Boney Kapoor knew that his 'No Entry' had found an entry in the audience's heart. Directed by Anees Bazmee, No Entry opened floodgates for the producer who has been waiting for an elusive hit for a number of years now.
In a telephonic conversation he said, "The movie has opened to a bumper response all over. The collections have been superb. Though all the prints hadnÂt arrived at some of the centers for the first show, they would be positively in the theatres by the time night show is supposed to begin.
There has been an obvious loss of some money because of some prints not arriving due to certain out of control technical glitches. But due to highly positive response to the movie after a great opening, it ensures that the movie turns out to be a smash hit.
Also the controversy surrounding the movie [regarding the exact release date] has only helped the movie, all thanks to the media. In fact I have been getting response through phone calls from all places where the movie has released that No Entry is not just a potential HIT but would also turn out to be the biggest blockbuster of 2005".
Now that's confidence! And why not when the movie's popularity over the first weekend speaks for itself.
