Anurag Kashyap`s 'Bombay Velvet' is large scale period drama film. It's no news anymore that the film is set in the 60`s era and for this, the director recreated the Bombay of that period in Sri Lanka.

Our sources revealed, being a big scale film, as many as 600 people were required to be present throughout on the sets. Yes, these people used to be on the set all the time during the shoot... It was a huge set and a good amount of coordination was needed in order to have everything under control. Anurag made sure that everything is in sync with the era, from the look of the characters, to the cars and the streets.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar, 'Bombay Velvet' is a much awaited film of the year and is all set to hit the screens on 15th May.
