Bombay To Goa
Have you been a part of a mad-mad journey? If not, then hop on this ride called 'Bombay To Goa'. If yes, then rest assured that this one would be far more engaging, exciting and eventful than the ones you would have taken before.
Getting Laughter Challenge finalists like Sunil Pal, Raju Shrivastava and Ehsaan Qureshi is a good enough idea in itself to ensure that there would be ample laughs over the journey. And if you have someone like Vijay Raaz playing the main lead, you can well expect what you are going to be a part of.
Directed by debutant Raj Pendurkar, 'Bombay To Goa' is about two friends Lal [Sunil Pal] and Das [Vijay Raaz] who are barely able to make ends meet but have their own philosophy about living life. While Lal wants to be really big one day, Das has own way of living life as he spends every day on his own terms. So much so that in spite of the meager income he gets from his job as a driver in BEST, he chucks it one fine day since he couldn't really go along well with his boss.
On one hand Lal has a good sense of humor and believes that one find day he will become big in spite of lack of resources, Das is arrogant though bubbling with some really creative ideas.
This very creative streak of his makes him come up with a plan where he could get a bus of his own running between Bombay and Goa. So what if he just had Rs. 2 lakhs to his disposal, courtesy a contest that Lal had won, he knows how to twist around things.
His destination is Chor Bazaar and this is the place where he and Lal get creative and make their own bus out of the spare parts belonging to old and imported cars. The result is there to be seen as the final product was hardly anything that looked like a bus.
Keeping the prospective passengers unaware about what they were getting into, Lal promises a moon to about 15 of them and made sure that they took a trip in it from Bombay to Goa, and that too with a discount.
Passengers arrive and they are shocked to say the least. Somehow Lal and Das convince them to board the bus but the journey that followed on the highway was the most unique that they ever could have imagined to be a part of.
A mad journey follows with equally mad passengers making sure that the madness was unparalleled throughout the drive!
Also starring a horde of other popular names like Shakti Kapoor, Deepak Shirke, Asrani, Jagdeep, Paintal, Jr. Mehmood, Dinesh Hingoo, Viju Khote, Birbal, Manmouji, Mac Mohan and Ranjeet, 'Bombay To Goa' promises to be a laugh riot affair as it unveils this Friday all over.
