'Bombay Talkies' unveils 'Dhakka Man'

It’s a bird...It’s a Plane...It’s Dhakka Man...!!! After much speculation over who is Dhakka Man, the mystery has finally been revealed.

He is not a super hero or a dreaded villain; he is just one of us. A regular guy who gets pushed around in the crowded streets, trains, buses and public places is Dhakka Man. You are Dhakka Man, we all are Dhakka Man.

The phenomenon of Dhakka has become so prominent in our lives that we have reached the stage of acceptance and made our peace with the fact that we will be shoved and pushed wherever we go.

Meet the Dhakka Man in Dibakar Banarjee’s new ‘Bombay Talkies’, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui which is set to release in theatres on 3rd May is one of the most awaited films of 2013.

An ode to 100 years of cinema, the film is directed by four of India’s finest directors: Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Zoya Akhtar.
