On Saturday afternoon a call was made to the police control room in Chennai that a bomb has been planted in Thala Ajith's house in Injambakkam, Chennai. The cops rushed to the box office king's home and made a thorough search but found nothing and it was declared a hoax. Ajith fans were angry and shocked and had been demanding that the perpetrators who are disturbing the peace of their idol be brought to books.

This morning the police traced the caller and found him to be one Bhuvanesh belonging to Marakkanam in Villupuram district. The man said to be mentally unstable had also made the similar call about a bomb planted in Thalapathy Vijay's property and was arrested a few weeks and let off with a warning. He has now been handed over to the Neelangarai police for further inquiry.

Thala Ajith has already completed fifty percent of shooting for his next film 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor. The film also stars Karthikeya, Huma Qureshi and Yogi Babu with music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Shooting will resume once the coronavirus pandemic is controlled.
