Following a call received by the Karnataka police, it has been announced that there are terror attacks planned at major cities of South India like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, besides Pondicherry, Goa, and Maharashtra.
The Karnataka police control room had received a call from a lorry driver named Swamy Sundar Murthy who was on his way to Hosur who claimed to have got information that terrorists are planning Bomb attacks in Tamilnadu and various states, and that attacks are planned on trains.
It has also been informed that 19 terrorists are active in Ramanathapuram in hiding and are planning the attacks, and the Tamilnadu government has intensified search operations are precautionary measures are being taken all over the states, with a high alert issued at railway stations. Protection has been enhanced as trains from Chennai, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Pondicherry, Kerala are said to be targeted besides other cities.
