Of late probably there is one actor who has been very secular in his choice of roles. He has played a catholic in Home Delivery. He plays a Parsi in Being Cyrus. He is Boman Irani. A seasoned photographer and now an equally seasoned actor, he is playing and has played several characters from different communities.

He plays a Sardar Lucky Singh in the Munnabhai sequel. He enjoys learning about the communities he represents through his characters in films. He is kind of upset with the portrayal of certain communities. For instance he does not like the way all the south Indians are generalized as coffee sippers and thambis in uddipis.

Well that makes him truly secular in outlook and an Indian at heart. He is playing inspector De Silva in Farhan Akhtar's Don. He will also be seen in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Ekklavya, Pyare Mohan and Khosla ka Ghosla.
