Think of her, and probably, one might get a cute memory of her, dancing few steps gracefully unmindful of her old age, in the song "Diya Jale" from Dil Se`. Now sadly the veteran actress has bid the world goodbye - living life to fullest till 102. Zohra Sehgal - actress, TV and theatre personality - passed away yesterday late afternoon following a heart attack.

As per reports, Sehgal ji, who was diagnosed with Pneumonia, was admitted treatment at Delhi`s Max Hospital on Wednesday.

Not only Bollywood, Sehgalji had impressed international audience by having been part of noted able Hollywood projects namely Bend It Like Beckham` and few other popular television series.

Her career graph boasting of prestigious accolades like Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan among others, Sehgal ji is a legend who interestingly has worked with all the four generation of Kapoor family - starting from Prithviraj Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor. Who can forget the natkat dadi in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' or strict old lady of 'Saawariya'?

Known to have a fighting spirit, "Laadli" as she was fondly called, had successfully won over Cancer, when she was diagnosed with the disease in 1994. Even on her 102nd birthday, Sehgal ji reflected a very confident outlook towards her aging life. Keeping true to her carefree attitude, she was quoted saying thus -

"I am preparing myself for death. When I go to sleep, I try to keep myself smiling. So that when I die, I have a smile on my lips. I want an electric cremation. I don't want any poems or fuss after that. And for heaven's sake, don't bring back my ashes. Flush them down the toilet if the crematorium refuses to keep them. If they tell you that I am dead, I want you to give a big laugh."
