There is a new trend that is being followed by stars is the 100 club that celebs love to touch. Many even manage to earn over 50 crores in the first day. So fans, here we bring to you the five most grossing movies of 2015.
'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'- This Salman Khan's big banner with an amazing storyline that helped it to gross worldwide with Rs 626 crore. This movie was released in many languages too that helped Salman fans to love him more. This movie also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.
'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' - This (again a Salman Khan movie) was made with a budget of Rs. 110 Crores and so far it has collected a whopping Rs 400 crore gross worldwide. It still stands at the first place of opening day collections with huge amount of Rs 40.35 Crores. This movie features stars like Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh and many more. This movie was like a reunion of director Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan after a gap of 16 long years.
'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'- This movie was a new threat to all Khans in the industry as it broke all records of grossing a whooping amount of Rs.150 crore world wide. Kangana Ranaut made headlines then and she was also loved by all with her dual character and role. She graced herself on screen amazingly, not only her fans but viewers like her till date for it. The movie also features R. Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal and Jimmy Shergill in the lead.
'Dilwale' - The film which brought back the iconic pair of DDLJ - Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol - is running at the theatres still and going stronger. As of now this Rohit Shetty film, also starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, has crossed Rs.123 crore.
'Bajirao Mastani' - Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus - starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra - released on same day as 'Dilwale'. Indeed it proved to be a big clash - crossing Rs.120 crores, little behind the SRK starrer. The film is still running at theatres and grabbing extremely good reviews due to the strong performance of the lead cast.
