Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor's last film 'Sharmaji Namkeen' is going to release on Thursday and promotions for the same are going on in full swing. On Wednesday, makers of the film gave a perfect tribute to Rishi Kapoor and the liveliness which he was known for.

They released a video of Rishi Kapoor's iconic song Om Shanti Om in which the actor can be seen mesmerizing the audience at the peak of his career. The video also featured Rishi's son Ranbir Kapoor, his girlfriend Alia Bhatt and several other celebrities dressed like him and performing his iconic dance moves.

Released just a day before the release of the film, the video also included biggies like Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Aadar Jain and Tara Sutaria all grooving to this iconic song.

For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor had passed away while working on this project and his scenes were later completed by Paresh Rawal. Talking about the same, producer Farhan Akhtar said, "When we discussed that we should recast the role, Paresh ji was on top of my list. There is a certain personality type to Sharmaji's character, he is a person who can come across maybe tough from the outside but soft and emotional from inside. I feel there is part of Paresh ji that matches this kind of personality."
