Yesterday, we saw that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan announced his latest venture, a brand-new OTT platform named 'SRK+' with a special poster on his social media handle. Now, it has been revealed that King Khan has pulled a prank on his fans, audiences and the national media to promote a big OTT player.
It is notable that there were parallel reports which claimed that SRK is supposed to make his OTT debut in the platform Disney Plus Hotstar and he had already teased his entry last year by appearing in the promotional videos of Hotstar. Today, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn shared a new promo video for Disney Plus Hotstar which exposed that Shah Rukh Khan's new OTT platform was a hoax.
In the video, Anurag Kashyap, who tweeted that he is collaborating with SRK for his new OTT's first project, was pitching concepts to the actor and it turns out that Disney Plus Hotstar already has various shows in the pitched content. There was no SRK+, no new OTT and just another promotional strategy of Disney Plus Hotstar's new advertisement featuring the superstar.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting briskly for the massive budget espionage thriller "Paathan" and will also be seen in director Atlee's Bollywood debut project, "Lion".
Sorry @iamsrk pehle bata dete, Rudra SRK+ pe hi release karta ??
