Bollywood's glam diva Sunny Leone made news recently as she was not given permission by the Karnataka government for a dance show in Bengaluru for this new year.

Regarding this, the city's Commissioner Sunil Kumar had stated that as instructed by the state authority the permission for the event was denied. He moreover stated that since the organisers have sold tickets for the event without the permission of the police officials as well, he has demanded an explanation from them. 

Sunny Leone herself took this issue to her social page saying that the said event will not happen considering the saftey of the people. "Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine and all who attend safety for my New Years event, my team and I feel, safety of the poeple should always come first therefore I cannot attend.God bless and I wish everyone a safe and happy new year!" she stated.

However Sunny's tweeps have been showing their support for the actress with their support in her social page.
